Amoeba reproduces by the common asexual reproduction method called binary fission. After replicating its genetic material through mitotic division, the cell divides into two equal sized daughter cells.

Amoeba reproduces asexually by binary fission .
The nucleus divides into two.
At frst the genetic material replicates. Then mitosis occur . The nucleus divides.
Alas the cytoplasm & outer membrane split into 2 . Each will possess a nucleus .
The new cell contains genetic material which is identical to the original one.
