Hi mate,

Dusshera is a very beautiful festival which is the most celebrated one in india. Different parts of India celebrate this festival in their own unique style and culture.

Here are few of them:-

Telangana:-

In Telangana, Devi Navratris are celebrated in the form of Bathukamma. During these days, Bathukamma is worshipped as the form of Goddess Durga, and all the women of this state worship her by dancing together. On the last day, All the women leave the Bathukamma in water. These Bathukammas float in the water and they later go away. It is a way of bidding Goodbye to the Goddess.

Gujarat:-

During Dusshera, Gujaratis perform Garbha Dance to please the Goddess Durga. There is a huge gathering of women wearing beautiful dresses and dancing with the Dandiya sticks in a very beautiful and colourful way.

West Bengal:-

Durga Puja During Dusshera is the most awaited one and it gives the state its real identity. This festival is the most important aspect of the lives of the people of Bengal. Various theme based pandals are created where amazing idols of Goddess Durga and other deities including Ganesh, Lakshmi and Saraswati are worshipped for 5 days in a very Grand way.

Himachal Pradesh:-

Dusshera festival in Kullu town of Himachal Pradesh holds a special significance. As it is celebrated with great enthusiasm. People here worship Lord Raghunath for 7 days in a very unique way. Nearby villagers bring statues of local gods and goddesses in a fairground holy procession. The whole week is spent with full of joy and happiness.

Delhi:-

Delhi celebrates Dussehra as the defeat of Ravan by lord Rama. Temples are decorated wonderfully on this Eve and Ram leela is one of the greatest appeals of the city. Idols of the three demons, Ravan, meghanand and kumbakaran are set on fire on various locations of the city. Watching Ram leela - a theatrical version of Ramayan is a beautiful experience. There are many other places in Delhi where pandals of Goddess Durga are created.
