the the failure of the earlier plans of Muhammad bin Tughlaq caused a great loss to the treasury. being badly in need of money, he tried another novel experiment. this was the introduction of token (copper) currency. the people come out with their copper and took away the gold and silver ones .

in 1327, Tughlaq ordered to move his capital from Delhi to Daulatabad but the people who were migrating was not in the favour of this decision.

Mohammed Bin Tughlaq wanted to expand his territory for that matter he maintained huge army for the maintenance of the huge army he ordered to his subjects to pay more taxes.
