In 1600 a group of merchant with 272 members came to india for monopoly trade. But after arrived in india they found lot of business competition from Dutch,Portuguese, etc. In 1611 they got opportunity to trade in Surat Gujurat. With the passes of time in 17th century they got a forman from mughal for tax free trade in bangal. But after some days during the time of Mursid quili Khan they started fortification around their factory. Hence, after the murshid Qulli khan Siraz us Daulah orders to stop fortification but British overlooked this order hence nawab captured their factory. Now when this massege reached at madrash under lord Clive came along with his troops and defeated to nawab in 1757. Now they made as a nawab to mir zafar. As a pet nawab. Now but again he replaced by Mir Qashim. But he was not a pet hence he exiled from bangal than he made a allied with suza us Daulha and saga Alam and declared the war against British in 1764. Which is called the battle of buxar. But the combined army of mir quasim defeated and an agreement signed between nawab suza and British that was called the treaty of Alhabad. In this treaty they captured Two district ( alhabad and kara) and gave to saga alam as a gift and against of this they got wldiwan rights in 1765 and got the real power of administration over india in Bangal.
