When the writer had the delusion about the various diseases he felt he had, he decided to see his doctor. The meeting with him was quite humorous. The writer told the doctor he had all the diseases except housemaid’s knee.
The doctor examined him thoroughly. He felt his pulse; he checked his chest by hitting it. He also heard the functioning of his lungs by putting his ear on his chest. Finally he wrote him a prescription and went away.
