The frog and the nightingale are a famous is an interesting rhyme which pays attention to the cunningness of the so-called musicians and critics.

It points out the fact that few have a tendency of destroying the creativity of a talented artist with the lame excuses.

In this poem, two contrasting characters viz.

The frog and the bird nightingale are beautifully penned.

It represents criminal and hateful nature such type of persons and nightingale has been portrayed as a soft personality and nervous type who obeys the command of frog obediently.

The frog finding the excellence in the nightingale’s voice becomes shaky about his own position.

The frog pretends as a mentor to the simple-minded nightingale.

Frog plans to kill her by tempting her with the lure of fame and adulation and to become a winner himself.
