Answer:

hi mate here's ur answer...

Explanation:

the Himalayas were found when:

  1. about 200 million years ago a single Giant landmass called the pagea broke into two parts (a). Lauresia(northern part) and (b). Gondwanaland (southern part).
  2. Later, conventional currents broke the crust of Gondwanaland into a number of plates.
  3. One of the broken plates called the Indo-Australian plate drifted towards the north and collided with much larger Eurasian plate.
  4. Due to collision, the sedimentary rocks of enclosed oceans were folded to formed so called Himalayas and other mountains system of western and Central Asia..

Answer:

1) 1000 million years ago there was a single mass of land Pangia and a single water body panthalsa.

2) the land was divided into two parts called Gondwana and Angara land by Tethy sea

the plates got further divided into more plates the two of them were Eurasian and Indo-Australian plate

3) these two plates collided

4) the collision was convergent the sediments of tethy sea got deposit

5) the deposition of sediments resulted in formation of Himalayas
