Indiction is a process by which bodies can be charged without contacting them...

This is due to arrangement of charges between the bodies when one charged body is being brought nearby the Uncharged or Neutral body...
This arrangement of charges between the bodies is called Polarisation of charges...

Description how body gets charged Oppositely

When a charged body say Negatively charged is brought nearby a neutral body...Polarisation between the charges occur, the negative charge arrange themselves towards the positive charge whereas negative charge aligned themselves on other end of the Neutral body...

further these negative charges are free charges in the neutral body...they freely move within the body...

the Negative charges on Charged body and Positive charges on neutral body are called bound charges...

Now as we connect the Neutral plate to the ground which is called grounding or Earthing
due to which free charges on the neutral plate moves towards the earth and become neutralise.
...

Now Neutral plate have got only Positive charge as negative charge netralise by grounding...as we remove or cut the grounding or earthing from the plate...The neutral plate Now become Postively charged...

This is how two bodies gets charged by the process of induction...

Hope you get this.....
