Answer:

Explanation:

I was stressed.

I didn't know what to do. I had a deadline of two days to finish the task put ahead of me. That means I have exactly 48 hours before I could do this. I thought I must've done it all when our teacher told us to study five long, hard chapters in three days. But this? The entire science textbook in two days? I am just a child, how can I do it?

At least, that's what I told myself.

I rushed back home, declining requests from my friends about hanging out in the park. Grumbling curses, I took a maximum of five minutes to refresh, eat lunch and change clothes before I shut the door to my room and spread out papers, pencils, pens, my notebook, my textbook and a rough book in front of me.

Before I knew it, my mom called for dinner. I looked out the window. The moon was shining brightly down at the world. It seemed cheerful, like it was mocking me for all the trouble I was put through. So much for a good weekend. All my other friends must be going out for dinner right now, while I am stuck in a den with nothing but stationary, a hopefully good memory and determination. My mom called again, snapping me out of my thinking. I ran downstairs and stuffed the food in my mouth. My (sibling's gender/dad) asked me what was wrong, and I shook my head, indicating nothing was wrong. I was way too stuffed to answer back.

I chugged down a glass of water and ran back upstairs, plopping down on my chair and occasionally pacing around the room muttering the answer I was trying to ace. Five lessons were down. Six more to go. I looked at my clock. It was 2:30 am. I shut my textbook. My eyes were weary, my head hurt and there was nothing else I would like to do than have a nice, long sleep until Sunday, which so happened to be today. I climbed into my bed and my eyes shut before I knew it.

The next morning, same day, same schedule, same stress. I studied and studied and studied until my family got worried. I didn't call any of my friends, which was unusual for me. When I finally finished the last six chapters, I could almost hear and opus behind me. It was 1:00 am. I rushed to bed, worrying about the test tomorrow.

This was it. The final day. I went into the examination room, trying to revise everything I learnt last night. I took deep breaths to calm myself down when I didn't know the answer to a question and it wasn't on Multiple Choice Questions. I handed in my paper, beaming at how well I did. When everyone in class were talking about answers that were wrong, I was the one who corrected them.

When I came to school the next day, everyone congratulated me. Frowning with curiosity, I ran to the results that were pinned up on the board. Yes! I passed with an outstanding mark of 99.5/100! My classmates cheered and whooped for me when I stepped into the classroom. And that, my friends, is how hark work, determination and confidence will help you get through anything.

(I SPENT ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES TRYING TO TYPE THAT IN DON'T TELL ME IT WASN'T WHAT YOU WANTED)
