sets, rest, and reps are the steps of warm up before attempting a maximal test. In sets the stronger can attain the workout for longer time while the weaker will work only for sometime. In such cases of rep,while considering every set of rep should be progressively higher and be reduced by rep.As I have said and explained about set and rep the rest is dependent on for a goal to go ahead and prepare urself in maximal test and not to tire urself
