It is important to have a direct relationship between a teacher and a student. There are several ways by which I would create a learning environment in the English classroom. Some of them are:

Acknowledging the student's psychological needs:

Students desire for love and belonging, security and order and freedom and novelty. However when these needs are addressed student's engagement increases effectively and therefore, learning increases.

2. Greeting students:

A teacher must greet its students everywhere they see. The students should feel no hesitation while greeting and talking to a teacher.

3. Organizing various activities and games in the classroom.

Games like Pictionary and board race helps in gaining student's attention. It helps them increase their vocabulary.
