Air enters the nose through the nasal cavity. as air passes through the nasal cavity ,it gets warm up and also get filtered. the hair present in nostrils stop the dust and germs from the entering the respiratory system...

  • PHARYNX------

the cavity leads into organ called the pharynx.

from the p h a r y n x air passes into a chamber called l a r y n x . the l a r y n x produces sound and is also called voice box . the opening of p h a r y n x into the l a r y n x is guarded by a called epiglottis . this closes the opening when we take in the food and it keeps it open during breathing.

  • WIND PIPE.

it is a delicate muscular tube. 12th in length and 2.5 CM in diameter stop it is divided into two parts called b r o n c h i .

  • LUNGS------

the b r o n c h i leads into the lungs which are situated on either side of the chest cavity. contain a number of air sacs and blood vessels. etc ...

  • DIAPHRAGM------

lungs cannot move by themselves. it is the movement of the diaphragm and the muscles between the ribs of the chest wall that causes the expansion and contraction of the lungs. hence ,breaking take place ..
