the most common example of such a plant is the touch me not(memosa pudica). as soon as we touch the last(stimulus), the leaves of the plant start drooping (response).

The movement of plant in response to the direction of the stimulus is called as Tropism.
Tropic movements are shown in response to the environmental factors such as:
- Light
- Water
- Chemicals
- Gravity
- Touch
The plant Mimosa pudica, exhibits response to the stimulus of touch by folding its leaf as soon as it experiences the stimulus of touch. After sometime it opens up its leaves and remains in normal condition.
