India has 29 states and each state has number of railway stations which is used for travelling by the people on daily basis. There is a great hustle and bustle on each and every station. Today, I would like to tell about my experience at one of the railway station and also try to explain the sights which I seen there.

In the last summer, my family decided a trip to Bangalore and decided to go there by the train. So, my father booked the train tickets one month earlier as my father knew the tickets were sold out if he would be late. The date would arrived on which we had to go our decided place. So early in the morning, we left for railway station.

When we reached there, suddenly a coolie came to us and asked for his help. But my father refused him as me and my father was enough to carry our luggage. When we entered the railway station, I was shocked by seeing a great hustle and bustle there. At first glance I was lost by seeing a such rush as I never visited crowded place earlier. I saw there was a counter near platform to buy tickets but we did not buy tickets as we had a printed copy of tickets which my father booked earlier. At one corner there were shops from which one could purchased the magazines, tea, stationary item etc. There were also a number of platform. But our train would arrived at platform number 30. So we reached there as soon as possible by cutting the rush. We just managed to reached there only 5 mins before the train timing. After that we sat in the train, and felt relax as my father booked the ac cabin.

So that was my experience of visiting a railway station.

Answer:

Compared to buses and aeroplanes, travelling by rail is more affordable and convenient. As a result, we discover a railway station to be a busy location. In the station, we see people dressed differently and from different regions of the nation.

Explanation:

I was once at the Old Delhi Railway Station to bid my friend farewell. He was taking the Kalka Mail to Kolkata. Passengers filled the entire waiting area. The line to make reservations was really long.

Everyone appeared to be rushing. A passenger had their pocket picked. The pickpocket, however, was apprehended and turned over to the police. I exited after purchasing a ticket for the station. We arrived at the station quickly. This scene was intriguing. The coming of the train was anxiously anticipated by the passengers. Some people were smoking or reading newspapers while seated on benches. A few people were pacing the platform. The vendors were really busy.

The vendors were really busy. At the tea shop, there was a hurry. The red-clad coolies were arranged in a line.

There was commotion and noise everywhere as soon as the train pulled in. The doors of the compartments were crowded. Many passengers descended, and many more climbed aboard. On their heads, coolies were spotted carrying bulky bundles of bags. The parents were clinging to the kids. The platform as a whole was rather noisy.

Fortunately, my companion was able to find a cosy seat beside a window. All was soon settled. The moment had come for the train to leave.

The train started to move as the engine whistled. Hands and handkerchiefs were waving. The train accelerated quickly and departed the station. The platform once more appeared to be vacant.
