Guests are usually not annoying and we being a family of three enjoy gatherings and guests coming over. But guests become annoying when they prolong their stay and start interfering in our lives.
One such guest is our uncle from Maharashtra. He often comes to us and says that he is very busy and has come just to see us for a while but ends up staying for weeks.
Staying at our place is not a problem if he would mind his own business, but he asks every possible annoying question on earth.
I get so annoyed by his nosy nature and pray that he never comes again.
Not all guests are welcome; a majority of them are nuisance. Only a few of them are your favorite. When they come, they create chaos at our home and in their wake leave mess to be cleaned by us.
The guest that I don’t like at all is one of my distant cousins. Recently, he visited my newly renovated house. He was amazed to see the beautiful renovations and the newly painted rooms. He liked the décor of each room and praised me for my sense of aestheticism.
His kids are a bunch of spoilt imps; they wreaked havoc in my home. They disfigured the newly painted walls, spoilt the newly tiled floors. Even they did not spare the furniture. Though exasperated, I could not stop them from damaging my best things.
My mother asked me to keep cool until the guests went. However, it was very difficult for me to do so as I could not see my beautiful world being looted and destroyed by those imps.
Finally, the day came when the villains said good bye with an assurance that they would soon visit us next year. I heaved a sigh of relief the moment they sat in a cab for the station.
