When the author went to meet Connie who was 101 years old, Connie mistook the author with her husband. The author wanted to hand over Jim’s letter to Connie who was at a nursing home. But as she was very old, she actually thought that her husband was back. Her eyes were lit up and set bright. She kissed the author’s cheek. She said to the author that she has been longing to hear to her husband’s voice even though she reads his letters every day. She even made a Christmas cake for him as she thought that he would come for Christmas as promised.

Answer:

Influxes of wistfulness wash upon my passionate shores when individuals begin discussing the covered book shops of the past. They wax beautifully about Borders, their independent neighborhood book shops, or other provincial top choices. My psyche evokes recollections of Media Play, the Midwestern-headquartered chain known for its kitschy, snappy business jingles. There was one adjacent, only 10 minutes away in a mall close to my youth home.
