Like in northern we have Himalayas which obstructs the cold winds from Middle Asia and makes indian climate warmer . Similarly the south west monsoon winds gets obstructed through aravali range and moves towards punjab and haryana while reaching there they exhaust all its moisture. While retreating in the month of October they give rain to parts of peninsular india like kerela.

2) Climate of Southern indian is hotter during summers because it is near to the equator than northern part sor northern part is a little bit cooler.
