Describe in brief the process of transcription in prokaryotes

Except the end product of mRNA is not modified into head and tail in prokaryotes because it is very near to cytoplasm where ribosomes are present. It doesn't have to cross through nucleases and phosphatases which can catalize the mRNA like in eukaryotes
