Process to pass the Money Bill
Explanation:
Money Bill is introduced only in the Lower House of the Parliament i.e.Lok Sabha. Money Bills passed by the Lok Sabha is sent to the Rajya Sabha. The Rajya Sabha cannot ammend the Bill but can give suggestions. When it is return to the Lok Sabha, it is not mandatory for the Lok Sabha to follow it.The Speaker of the Lok Sabha certifies if a financial bill is a Money Bill or not.Finance bill is supposed to be enacted within 75 days (including the Parliament voting and the President assenting).
Money bill cannot be returned by the President to the parliament for its reconsideration, as it is presented in the Lok Sabha with his permission.
