that gets formed when foetus is embedded to the wall of
uterus after fertilization.
*It joins the mother to baby via umbilical cord.
FUNCTION-
1)It acts as a nutritive,respiratory and excretory tract between
mother and baby.
2)It provides nourishment to the growing foetus.
