Factors that affect the rate of evaporation are:
★ temperature - Evaporation increases with increase in temperature.
★ humidity - Evaporation decreases with an increase in humidity.
★ wind speed - Evaporation increases with an increase in wind speed.
★ the surface area exposed to atmosphere i.e. it increases with an increase in surface area.

# temperature and humidity - the amount Evaporation is faster with increase in temperature. If there us humidity the evaporation will decrease
If you hang your wet cloths in clothline on a day when there are dark clouds in the sky then evaporation will not take place due to less heat and more amount of humidity .
# wind speed - evaporation occurs faster with an increase in wind speed.
Take to similar dishes with equal amount of water in it . Expose one under the fan and other in a dry , shallow place or in normal roon temperature. You will observe that the one under the current of air evaporates faster . Therefore evaporation occurs faster in presence of wind speed
# surface area - the larger is the surface area the faster is the evaporation
Take a shallow dish and a glass with water . Keep them in room temperature u. You will see that the water in the shallow dish evaporates faster due to large surface area
