Apomixis:

The plants where the standard sexual proliferation has been totally supplanted by a kind of asexual propagation are called apomictic and the phenomenon is called as apomixis. The term apomixis is a general one and covers a wide range of non-sexual method of reproduction, in which pores are developed without the fertilization.

This process doesn't involve fusion of gametes for production of spores and is devoid of fertilization process.
