Firstly, proteins are digested in stomach as it secrets gastric juices which contain trypsin and pepsin. These are protein digesting enzymes. Then pancreatic enzyme called chymotrypsin is secreted in small intestine to digest proteins. In this way, proteins are digested into amino acids.

Hii..
Protein digestion starts in stomach..
In the presence of HCl pepsinogen is converted into pepsin which is an active enzyme..
Pepsin converts Proteins to
Peptones+proteoses+peptides..
In small intestine these smaller peptides are converted into amino acids which are absorbable form ..in the presence of Trypsin
Hope this helps!!
