Answer:

The human eye is one of the most sensitive sense organs of sight which enables us to see the wonderful world of light and colour around us.

Explanation:

1) When we stare at an object, the object's light rays enter the pupil of the eye and fall on the eye-lens.

2) Because the eye-lens is a convex lens, light rays converge and an actual and inverted image of the object is produced on the retina.

3) The retina is densely packed with light-sensitive cells. The light sensitive ells generate electrical signals when the picture of the object faslls on the retina. We can see the thing because the retina delivers electrical impulses to the brain via the optic nerve.
