Influenza or flu is an acute illness caused by influenza virus in the respiratory tract.
This is composed of three groups A, B and C. The influenza A and B viruses have affected epidermis worldwide. Influenza virus C occurs as a minor epidemic, sporadically. Animals and wild birds are significant reservoirs for the influenza virus. Influenza is transmitted by droplet infection created by sneezing or talking primarily from one person to another, and reaches the respiratory tract.
