                  The inspiration in fish can be defined as the inhaling of gases which is mixed in water molecules or sometimes by coming to the surface. During this time the fish opens its moth and the mouth cavity lowers down attaching to the neck region and exerts pressure to the lungs and lungs gets compressed.

Expiration:

                 The expiration in fish can be defined as exhaling of gases. During this time the mouth region remains closed and exerts the gases from the gills through the regions of the air. During this time the lungs experiences relaxation and the lungs come down to its normal position and gets enlarged.
