INTRODUCTION
☆ There were many types of string instrument used during the Vedic period. Among this musical string instrument , one type of musical string instrument was bow shaped. Some experts of west think that it is a kind of musical string instrument was ancestor vilion.
SOME OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
☆ Pinga Pari Cha Niskaddidyan
Pinga was bow shaped instrument . The string of this instrument was made up of animal instestine which has been coloured of grey - tined - half blue. According to the colour this instrument was called pinga.
☆ Gargara
It is equally bow shaped in name according to the sound it makes. According , to the sloka , gargara the musical instrument of vedic age is making tremendous sound . The production of sound came through it string. ,
