KABIR : Kabir condmened discrimination on the basis of religion , caste and wealth . he also rejected meaningless rituals . He conveyed simple messages through different types of poems , including dohas , bishnupadas and sakhis .

GURU NANAK : Guru Nanak Dev founded a new Sect called Sikhism . he preached through kirtans , bhajans and ragas . these kirtans were collected by his followers ' Adi Granth ' which is a holy book of the Sikhs . he allowed women to attend his sermons along with men and laid emphasis on purity of characted and conduct .

He denounced the leading of life as an ascetic and put great emphasis on hard work and earning livelihood. For him taking care of one's family and providing food and shelter for them was one of the prime duties of man before God.
