Lencho is an innocent man because he believes that God will reply to the letter he sends Him. He is optimistic that the letter will reach God although he has marked the envelope with just To God and no address as he didn’t know it.
Similarly, after a dry period for a long time, when the first big drops of rain hit the ground, he had a satisfied look on his face that showed how optimistic he was about a shower shortly.
