➡ They were not in favour of uncontrolled power of dynastic rulers . They wanted to safeguard the rights of individuals against government . They argued for a representative, elected parliamentary government, subject to laws interpreted by a well-trained and independent judiciary .
➡ They were not in favour of Universal Adult Franchise and didn't want women to caste any vote.
