Answer: It is the largest desert on the African continent. Sahara desert is located in the northern part of Afrca. it covers Egypt, Sudan, Libya, chad, niger, mali, Mauritania, western Sahara and Algeria out of which only Egypt and Libya are wholly covered. it covers 7 million sq km.
