Male gametophyte

1. It is developed from pollen grain or microspore.

2. It does not remain embedded permanently in the microsporangium.

3. It completes its development in two phases; prepollination and post pollination.

4. It is three celled (one tube cell and two male gamete).

5. Male gamete come out of pollen grain due to the formation of pollen tube.

6. It will disintegrates after fertilization.
