Describe matter and explain why light is not matter. Is light made of atoms and elements?

matter is anything which occupies space and have mass.light is not a matter because it can occupy large space and even a tint of place and the most prominent part is that any other heavy substance can also take it's place. coming to the mass , light have negligible mass which cannot be considered.
