• Closed and incomplete double circulation

•Its function is to transport food , gases and hormones to various parts of the body

*MECHANISM:

• Heart of a frog is three chambered

• Two atrium and one ventricle

• Now the left atrium gets the oxygenated (pure) blood from the gills/skin /lungs

• The right atrium gets the deoxygenated blood from other body parts

• The blood from right and left atrium is pumped to the ventricle

• So the ventricle receives mixed blood and pumps out this mixed blood to all parts

• And again this blood goes to gills /lungs/ skin , gets oxygenated and comes to left atrium and deoxygenated blood comes to right atrium and the process continues.

• This circulation is also called as Transitional double circulation or Incomplete Double circulation
