Answer:

Fish has fins instead of limbs. Fins are thin and flat projections on the body of a fish. Fins help the fish in swimming, in steering and balancing its body in water. Tail fin works like a rudder. Caudal fin moves in a zigzag manner and hence the fish is seen moving right and left. The backward push of the tail in water helps the fish in moving forward. Fish is gulping water all the time to help in breathing through the gills. This gulping of water also helps the fish in moving ahead.
