Hey There!

Physical changes are the one whose effects or results can be reversed and no new substance is formed.

On melting, Ice - Cream changes to liquid state. No new substance is formed.

But this can be reversed by freezing the liquid Ice cream which again forms its solid form.

Hence, Melting of Ice - Cream is a Physical change.

Hope this helps mate!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Physical change is the change in which no new substance is formed and also the change is reversible.

Melting of ice-cream gives us the liquid (creamy sort of thing) and this can be freezed back to get the ice cream.

In terms of chemistry , there is no change in the atomic/molecular configuration of the ice cream.
Only there is a change in the state of matter due to the heat absorbed by it.
