Describe melting on the basis of kinetic theory of matter

The particles of matter are in constant motion and this motion increases on increasing the temperature. When the temperature of a solid increases it's particles start moving faster until they reach a point where they will break away from the forces of attraction and start moving a little freely , that is , the solid melts to become a liquid.
