In human female, mensturation is repeated at an average interval of about 28/29 days, and the cycle of events starting from one mensturation till next one is called menstural cycle.
One ovum is released (ovulation) during the middle of the each mensturation cycle
Hormones secreted by Pituitary and Ovary leads the key role in the influence of menstural cycle.
Secretion of FSH and LH from pituitary and ovary stimulates development of ovarian follicles.
Rapid increase in the mid-cycle of LH known as LH surge induce rupture of mature follicle and thereby release an Ovum  and this process is known as Ovulation.
Estrogen from follicles and Progestron from corpus luteum mantain the development of endometrium of uterus.

mensuration cycle
the process by which a mature ovum is released from an ovary is called ovulation
the bleeding from vagina due to break down of the ticket in a wall of the uterus and its blood vessels is called mensuration
and it falls I think so 4 to 7 days
and the beginning of Mensuration at puberty is called menarche
the cycle of changes taking place in ovaries and uterus every 28 days is called mensurational cycle
and the mensuration cycle stop at the age of 45 to 50 years
the stoppage of that mensurational cycle is called menopause
and it includes maturation of the egg
release of the egg from ovary excetra
I think so as I am in 8th class and the second topper of the science
