⚫Russian campaign in france started on 24 june 1812 when Napoleon's grand army crossed the neman river with the intention and effort to engage and defeat the Russian army.
⚫Napoleon's thought was to compel Tsar alaxender I of Russia to cease ( stop) trading with British merchants , with the effort to pressure the UK( united kingdom) to compel for peace.
⚫this campaign lasted from 24 June 1812 – 14 December 1812.
⚫it took place in Russian empire.its result was that the Russian army achieved victory, and the french allied army was destructed and also there was a start of the war of the sixth coalition.
