Limitations :-

1) Critics of Normative approach designated that it is not possible to understand the idea of the past ages in terms of contemporary ideas and concepts.

2) No emphasis on factual data / statistics .

3) No interdisciplinary study i.e does not study psychology , anthropology , geography , sociology etc

4) Not scientific more philosophical.

5) Does not study behaviour of people (Aka psychology) .

6) Does not help in predicting future political system .

7) It is not relevant as it does not tells you about political organisation in reality ( how they are ? What they are doing? etc)
