Amoeba is a unicellular organisms so all the life processes performed in Amoeba is done by single cell. The process of intake of food in amoeba is known as phagocytosis.
amoeba don't have any confined body shape so it a egulfs its food from a finger like projection call pseaudopodia. Amoeba now creates a food vacuole which digest the egulfed food from the enzymes secreted by cytoplasm 2 food vacuole now the food is assimilated to cytoplasm. now the undigested food is thrown out of amoeba.

Hey, mate here is your answer》》

Amoebas take in nutrients via phagocytosis and pinocytosis. Phagocytosis is what occurs when an amoeba surrounds a solid food particle with its pseudopods to form a vacuole (known as a phagosome) in which digestion of the food particle then occurs.
