Ozone is the layer that is made up of three molecule of oxygen (O3).

When some gases react with ozone they will deplet it, some of those gases are carbon mono oxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), CFC's etc.

These gasses will arised from the human activity for example The CFC's will evolve from deodrants , spray, AC's, fridge etc and carbon partices produced from automobiles.

ozone layer is proved to be a protecting layer for life form present in earth .
it protect us from harmful ultraviolet rays...
these layer are get disturbed and destroyed when harmful gases strike the layer and make hole in it which make some harmful rays to enter into earth resulting in many harmful disease which is very hazardous for all the life forms present in earth......
so we can state that ozone are being depletion by the barmful gases which realeased by industries ,automobile etccc..
