in Anthozoa and scyphozia,the mesoglea also contains some muscles cell. Cynicytes.the harpoon like"nettle cells" that gave the phylum cnideria its name.

Cnidaria

1. These animals mostly found in marine wayer and very few in fresh water also.

2. They posses central gastro vascular cavity in the body.

3. They are multicellular organism animals showing more body design.

4. They are radially symmetrical and are sessile or free swimmimg.

5. They show diploblastic tissue leval of organisation.

6. They live in coral or in collonial areas.

7. The body is made up of 2 layers, one outer and one inner layer.

8. The mouth is surrounded by tentacles which helps to capture food and also helps to locomotion.

9. Digestion is partly extracellular and partly intracellular.

10. Eg. Leucosolenia, spongilla, sycon, euplectella.
