Here's The Answer

.

_______________________

Principal Quantum Number

The principal quantum number (n), gives the information about the main or the principal energy level or shell to which the electron b belongs i.e. it gives the information about the Bohr's orbit to which the electron belongs.

_______________________

Possible Values

The values of principal quantum number are positive integer ranging from 1 to infinity.

As the value of principal quantum number increases i.e. the number of orbit increases its energy keeps on increasing, so it also gives the information about the energy state of the electron.
