While idealism holds reality being set of ideas, realism is that reality is material.

  • As per Quixote, philosophical idealism holds that the truth is fundamentally a bunch of thoughts, private mental builds,
  • Whereas philosophical realism holds that the truth is principally material and that its characteristics exist freely of human insight and understanding.
  • Quixote considers the world to be around him as a set of faith based expectations about honour, goodness, bravery, and boldness.
  • He also sees it as a chance for social change and furthermore attempts to fit the world into a bunch of pre-decided standards. However, he felt that realism and idealism must ultimately be integrated
