Right to Equality. The Constitution says that the government shall not deny to any person in India equalitybefore the law or the equal protection of the laws. It means that the laws apply in the same manner to all, regardless of a person's status. This is called the rule of law.

fundamental rights had been mentioned in the Indian Constitution in part 3rd and Right To Equality is one of them which is mentioned in the article 14 to 18. Under this no one should be discriminated on the basis of caste, culture, race, colour etc. and everyone is equal before the law
