saprhytic nutrition is that type of nutrition in which an organisms feed on a dead and decaying matter.

take a piece of bread and sprinkle some water on it keep the bread inside a Tiffin box and leave it for 4 to 5 days . then take it out and u will observe that it has grown some cotton like material this is called bread mould which is a saprophyte that is feeds on dead decaying matter.

Saprophytic nutrition involves the type of nutrition which involves the organism depends on dead and decaying matter. 'Fungi', 'bread mould', 'some protist' and many 'bacteria' are saprophytic in nature. The experiment which regulates this is by placing a bread in closed air tight box, then opening the same box in 6-7 days. The thick grown fungi mycelium will be found on bread and hence this is decayed completely which cannot be consumed.
