Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan secured a positive advance in the extension of his authority over the Deccan during his reign of over 28 years. In his reign the Nizam Shahi kingdom came to an end and the Qutb Shah and the Adil Shah lost their sovereignty and parts of their territory.
