Shakespeare have no doubt framed the character of Shylock wisely. And being a common reader,it is almost impossible to describe the character of Shylock.But still were could say that Shylock was a jew who was just trying to revenge from Antonio for his insult.Although his objection was liable, but the way to proceed was indeed wrong.He was acting as if he wanted to kill Antonio (which was a truth).we cannot say that Shylock was doing wrong ,neither we can say that he was doing good.
