The poet says that the tiger is full of strength yet he lies behind the bars.The tiger is angry and it moves up and down the length of his cage. According to the poet, the tiger slowly moves and ignores the visitors who had come to the zoo. The tiger cannot rest during the day due to the visitors and at night, he remains disturbed due to the noise of the patrolling cars. He keeps staring at the brilliant stars with his brilliant eyes. It seems like he is asking the heaven why he is trapped there.
